As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist guests and store teams with clear communication, report concerns, and support a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and guests by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, retail corridors, entrances, loading or receiving areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and communicate findings to site leadership and/or local authorities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, documenting events, and supporting property management and store teams.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and use radios and/or other systems to coordinate with the Allied Universal team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
