As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-end retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests, assist store teams, and communicate clearly while documenting observations and responding to concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and/or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disruptions, medical situations, and/or property concerns; notify the appropriate parties as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, back-of-house corridors, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor and document unusual activity, potential shoplifting indicators, and/or disturbances; complete detailed reports and preserve relevant information for management and/or law enforcement when needed.
• Control access to restricted areas, assist with opening and/or closing procedures as assigned, and provide escorts for staff, vendors, and/or customers when requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
