We have an opportunity for a talented and highly motivated Building Information Modelling (BIM)Drafterto join ourNew York/Iselin - MetroparkNJoffice, working closely with multidisciplinaryteamsin North America.

As a BIMDrafter, you willproduce modelsand drawings under the direction of task leads on a multitude of projects. This role requiresexpertisein developing and coordinating 3D models using Autodesk and/or Bentley software applications for major infrastructure and building projects, particularly in the water/wastewatersector of the industry.

Coreresponsibilitieswillbe:



  • Develop drawings, layouts,andsketcheswith industry standard software(AutodeskCivil3D,Autodesk Revit)





  • Conduct drawing review and markupwith an organized, methodical mindset





  • Prepare submittal package drawings and trackproduction of required drawingsunder the direction of the team and task leads





  • Assistin preliminary layout of complex assignments to defineappropriate drawingsand information





  • Draft& modelwithinaccepted company and/ornational standards;assistin the evolution of standards where appropriate





  • Preparedesign modifications from provided sketches and data when prototypesor standard librariesare not available





  • Review and check others'models and draftingworkfor consistency and adherence to procedures, standards, and references





  • Modelingbuilding serviceselements



Thepreferred candidate will have:



  • Associate or Technical Degree in CAD, Survey, Construction, from an accredited institution or acceptable equivalent





  • Preferred 5-10 years' experience





  • Experience usingBentley tools (e.g.Microstation,OpenBuildings,OpenTunnels, OpenFlow, or similarauthoring tools)for mechanical and plumbing systems






  • Drafting/BIM experiencein a design or construction team





  • Experience withor willingness to learnnew software as the demand arises





  • Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards is a plus.





  • Excellent communication skills essential for team-basedwork





  • Adaptability togrow beyond theinitialrole and manage teams

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.

The expected salary for this position is $92,000 - $113,000.
