  • As an Associate Resource Planner, you'll become a member of Client's Project Work Planning Team, which is a sub-unit of the Project & Programs Controls Department. The Project Work Planning's high-level goals and objectives are:
  • Support Project On-Boarding Process via PPM (Prelim Planning Meeting).
  • Develop Prelim Project Management Foundational Data:
    • Cost
    • Scope
    • Schedule
    • Stakeholders & Resources
    • Risks
  • Support LRWP (Long Range Work Plan) Activities
    • Understanding and capturing project resource demand requirements.
    • Outer year planning/forecasting.
  • Monitor and Control
    • Ensure projects are fit for completion.
    • Key project Stakeholder Engagement.
Job Functions & Responsibilities:

The Associate Resource Planner will support with all the above through the following:
  • Manage, balance and coordinate external and internal resources via Power BI and P6 with the intent to support the optimization of short and long-term resourcing needs to accomplish planned project and program work and deliver agreed key enterprise portfolio benefits.
  • Data entry & reporting via P6.
  • Promote technical guidance, support and coaching to cross-functional P&PC departmental Teams in the form of knowledge sharing and develop technical understanding of Client's Project Management.
  • Via the use of P6, report and monitor project, program and portfolio resource levels and resource predications with the intent to analyze prelim and finalized resource plans and performance, and resource themes and trends.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Stakeholders and Groups to drive consistency regarding resource coordination and planning, and ensure timely delivery of projects and programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement to identify potential process and procedures pain-points with the intent solution.
Skills:
  • Associate degree in a related area or equivalent work experience. Typically, role requires a minimum of 1-3 years' experience.
  • Proficient in Office 365 programs such Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Experience with data entry and analytics.
  • Experience of managing project activities independently.

Education & Certifications
  • Associate Degree.
