Coordinates portion size and cooking times in order to serve all customers a quality product. Service may be provided at the BML Dining Hall or as a catered meal service at another location Apply By Date 03/05/2026 by 11:59PM Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position Service Safe Certified Certification No Minimum Education required Experience in institutional food service, cooking and serving for large groups. Experience interpreting, following recipes, and determining the proper proportion of ingredients when cooking for large or small groups. Skill and experience to judge proper portion size and coordinate cooking activities. Good Customer Service skills, able to use standard office equipment such as keyboards, copy machines, scanners, telephones. Able to read and write English for recipe interpretation and other writing abilities as necessary. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Skills and experience to assist with menu development. Experience placing supply orders with vendors via computer, telephone, and vendor websites. Catering experience preparing, transporting to various locations, and serving meals while under time constraints and heavy workload. Knowledge of preparing menu items to individuals with food allergies and dietary restrictions.
