Demand Planner, Warehousing & Logistics

We are looking for a skilled Demand Planner to support Energy Warehousing and Logistics team. This role is responsible for improving forecast accuracy for key commodities andprograms, identifying inefficiencies in demand planning processes, designing innovativesolutions that highlight key demand drivers for all categories, and modeling of the laborneeded at the warehouses to ensure proper staffing. The Planner will operate in a highly cross-functional team environment involving Supply Chain, Marketing, Product Management, andService. This position will provide reliable and timely demand plans to ensure the right serviceparts and labor are available at the right place at the right time in the right quantity.

• Create and manage short and long-term demand forecasts for Service Parts andAccessories that help optimize demand of inventory and staffing levels at worldwidedistribution centers, lower the cost of operation, and improve overall customersatisfaction levels
• Collaborate with Global Supply Managers, Field Operations, Inventory Management,Production teams, Service leaders, and Marketing Teams to gather data and bringinformation on key business drivers that impact future demand
• Analyze the detailed historical consumption data by business unit and region andhighlight trends and patterns in consumption by applying advanced Statistical Modelsand Time Series Analysis
• Develop programs in statistical computing and graphics and apply advanced supply chainanalytics to resolve inefficiencies in demand forecasting process, identify opportunitiesfor forecast accuracy improvement, and provide business insights and additionalperspectives to the Manager of Energy Material Planning, Distribution, and ServiceSupply Chain leadership
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to plan for material End-of-Life (EOL) transitionplanning with the goal to ensure reliable long-term service coverage while minimizingexcess and obsolescence

• 2+ years of related experience as a planner, analyst, or in a technical role within supplychain in a manufacturing company

• Strong proficiency with Python (Pandas, NumPy)
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
• Strong proficiency with SQL (MySQL, Vertica)
• Strong proficiency with MS Excel
