Job Title:JapaneseBilingual Sales Coordinator Location: Torrance, CA (Onsite) Hours: 9:00am - 5:30 pm Classification: Exempt, Direct Hire, Full-Time This Japanese Bilingual Sales coordinator role is ideal for ambitious professionals who want to build a long-term career in a highly specialized industry. Unlike traditional sales roles that rely on cold calling, this position focuses on strengthening and expanding relationships with existing corporate clients and established networks. You will work closely with clients to identify new opportunities, support strategic growth initiatives, and contribute to business expansion through a relationship-driven approach. The role combines business development, market research, proposal preparation, and cross-border communication with Japan, providing broad exposure to corporate decision-making processes.

The position requires advanced-level Japanese (speaking and writing), experience in B2B sales or marketing, and the ability to build and maintain professional corporate relationships. Responsibilities: Track sales and business development progress by reviewing business goals, sales results, and market conditions. Support the Business Development Director with reports and updates for executives and senior management in Japan.
Assist in preparing and coordinating contracts and agreements with existing and prospective U.S.-based insurance clients and business partners.
Prepare and coordinate presentation and promotional materials for prospecting activities.
Conduct market and industry research and share findings with the Business Development team.
Meetwith prospective clients in person or virtually to gather information on current insurance programs and future needs.
Support the execution of the sales process, including prospecting, planning, and new business development.
Collaborate with internal teams to support cross-selling, upselling, and client retention initiatives.
Assist with quality assurance activities, including coordination between sales, account servicing, and carrier partners.
Maintain and manage prospect data, sales activities, and related documentation.
Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, prospects, colleagues, and business partners.
Maintainconfidentiality of company and client information.
Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, and/or marketing in a corporate environment; experience supporting relationship-based sales activities is highly preferred.
Advanced-level fluency in Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing).
Bachelor's degree froman accredited four-year college or university.
Ability to obtain and maintain the required finance-related license after hire. The company will provide the necessary training materials and support to assist with the licensing process.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, internal teams, and business partners.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
