The AUKUS, Submarines, and Industrial Base Group (ASIG), within the Sea, Land, Air Division, provides timely, objective, analytic assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis to NAVSEA Team Submarine program offices and key stakeholders surrounding submarine platform construction. Team Submarine unifies submarine platform procurement activities, which includes the Columbia-class SSBN program (a Major Defense Acquisition Program and the Navy's top acquisition priority), the Virginia-class SSN program and the new SSN-X program (developing the next generation attack submarine), to bring improved capabilities to our undersea forces. Analysts and Engineers supporting Team Submarine will continue SPA's decades of support to the SSBN force, as well as supporting oversight of cutting-edge attack submarine construction, assisting in developing the design requirements for the SSN platform of the future, and helping plan and execute new and innovative strategies to strengthen the critical submarine shipbuilding industrial base. These are high-profile, major acquisition and manufacturing programs of significant importance to the future capabilities of the US Navy in an era of renewed strategic competition. SPA has an immediate need for a Program Analyst supporting OPNAV N1's Commander's Action Group (CAG) supporting Commander Naval Personnel (CNP).MC Responsibilities As a Program Analyst and manager of a team of 3, you will provide in office day-to-day project management support including planning, collaboration, development, and execution of lines of effort and initiatives for the Chief of Naval Personnel (CNP) in the CAG office. Specific responsibilities include: providing support for organizational strategy development including vision, mission and strategic developments and goals; provide strategic communications and engagement support to include development of CNP talking points on key issues; conducting analysis of CNO and CNP strategic initiatives using analytic techniques; assess existing organizational initiatives and projects to determine possible synergies with new Navy initiatives; liaise between key working level members of the OPNAV staff, MyNavy HR Enterprise, other DOW/DON organizations, corporate entities, and academic institutions; and gather information, identify issues, and draft documentation to achieve overall goals for MyNavy HR strategic planning and execution. Administrative duties include executive level report generation using MS Office programs; Standard Operation Process development; responses to Congressional, DOW, other Government agency, media or industry inquiries and audits for Congressional testimony; provide support to meetings, conferences, off-sites, and briefings; track, analyze, and prepare answers to action items in ETMS; and maintain action item calendar to track deliverables and assigned Action Officers (AOs).
