As a Security Officer Building Access Control in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite employees, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, processing spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in and badging, and directing deliveries to approved locations.
• Complete routine reports and documentation such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol observations using required paper and/or electronic systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• Provide proof of high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be 21 years of age and older.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, preferred.
• Have CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred, and it may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
