About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and people-centered HR Operations Advisor Leader to provide strategic guidance and leadership to our HR Advisory team. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day advisory operations, partnering closely with business leaders and HR stakeholders, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality HR support aligned with Gore's culture, values, and strategic priorities.

Note: This position may be based at our Phoenix or Flagstaff, Arizona facilities, with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement based on role responsibilities and business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily HR Advisory operations, providing coaching, performance management, and development aligned with organizational goals

  • Ensure accurate, compliant case management and consistent application of HR policies, practices, and processes across the organization

  • Guide resolution of complex or sensitive associate relations matters in alignment with Gore's values, employment law, and compliance requirements

  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, Payroll, Benefits, Legal, and other stakeholders to resolve inquiries effectively

  • Monitor associate relations trends, identify risk or compliance concerns, and support audits and regulatory requirements

  • Champion initiatives that strengthen associate engagement, retention, development, and inclusion, incorporating associate feedback into HR services

  • Build strong, trusted relationships and subject-matter credibility with leaders and associates across regions and centralized HR teams

  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, service delivery models, and advisor tools, including SLA development and performance metrics

  • Lead or support HR projects such as system implementations, policy updates, organizational initiatives, and HRIS-related efforts

  • Oversee optimization of workers' compensation and leave processes, including leadership of the leave of absence outsourcing transition and change management

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex associate relations matters with integrity and discretion

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership of HR teams or functional areas

  • Master's degree or HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD, PHR/SPHR)

  • Experience operating within a global, matrixed organization

  • Strong experience in change management and organizational development

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across multiple levels of the business

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore's work arrangement policies.
