Job Summary The Machine Operator Level 1 is responsible for safely operating basic production machinery, performing routine quality checks, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure products meet established standards. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals developing their technical skills and understanding of production operations.
Job Description SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Operate assigned machines or equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Start, stop, and monitor machine performance throughout the production run.
* Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
* Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process.
* Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
* Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.
* Conduct basic quality checks using measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, or visual inspections.
* Record production and quality data accurately.
* Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE * Minimum age requirement 18+
* High school diploma or GED preferred
* Previous manufacturing experience helpful but not required
* Ability to work assigned shift (including overtime as needed)
* Ability to read and understand work instructions or SOPs
* Attention to detail
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Ability to work in a fastpaced production environment
* Basic math and measurement skills

* Stand for extended periods
