We're actively seeking a talented Sr. Sales Advocate to join our Executive Benefits/COLI team in Newport Beach, CA.

As a Sr. Sales Advocate you'll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by serving as a critical partner to the Executive Benefits Sales Team, providing comprehensive internal and external support throughout the life insurance sales process, from initial conversations and case submission through underwriting and premium placement. You will collaborate closely with Financial Professionals, their staff, TPAs, Underwriting, and New Business teams to ensure seamless execution and an exceptional service experience. You will be a new role that sits on a team of four people in the Consumer Markets division.

How you'll help move us forward:

Case Management & Process Oversight

  • Manage active case inventory, track progress, and ensure timely follow-up

  • Oversee document submission, ensuring completeness and accuracy

  • Provide consistent status updates and reporting

  • Generate comprehensive reports with actionable insights

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with the New Business team to gather enrollment materials and applications

  • Facilitate smooth case submission and policy issuance upon underwriting approval

  • Work directly with Underwriting (guaranteed issue and traditional) to clarify requirements and resolve concerns

  • Coordinate expectations across Financial Professionals, TPAs, and internal teams

Advocacy & Service Excellence

  • Advocate for Financial Professionals using consultative negotiation skills

  • Manage escalations and identify creative, win-win solutions

  • Deliver concierge-level service and conduct training on new business and underwriting processes

  • Build strong, lasting relationships through proactive communication

Operational Excellence

  • Assist with licensing and appointment verification

  • Identify and recommend process improvements

  • Support special projects that drive Executive Benefits sales growth

  • Participate actively in team collaboration and strategy discussions

The experience you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of life insurance industry experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong knowledge of guaranteed issue and traditional underwriting

  • Understanding of the life insurance new business process

  • Experience in the Executive Benefits marketplace

  • Product knowledge in COLI and non-COLI solutions

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$93,600.00 - $114,400.00
