As an Allied Universal Officer at a Distribution Center, you will help manage access control by verifying badges, monitoring entry points, and responding to alarm panel activity. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist guests and staff with clear, professional communication. Using a computer and/or tablet, you will document activity and support a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, vendors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access procedures and Allied Universal policies for a cultural institution location.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing traffic to appropriate areas.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or access control systems and report irregular activity per post orders to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of public areas, restricted spaces, and the perimeter when assigned, noting hazards, suspicious behavior, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
