As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team, and respond to situations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
• Monitor access points and help manage entry and exit processes in accordance with post orders, including verifying identification and/or visitor authorization when assigned.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public responders when appropriate.
• Complete timely reports, logs, and required documentation, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
