As a Security Officer - Unarmed Field Driver Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and data center location where you will monitor activity and conduct routine patrols to help spot and report security-related concerns. As an unarmed, driving post, you will perform mobile rounds, remain highly visible, and support access control while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and established access procedures for a technology data center location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior spaces, equipment areas, and the property perimeter, watching for conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor and operate security-related systems such as alarms, badge access points, and surveillance equipment, and report irregular activity per site protocol.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.
• Document patrols, inspections, and incidents using written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
