Position Summary The Columbia Center for Translational Immunology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) is seeking a motivated Technician B to support research focused on understanding the biology of T cell function in cancer and autoimmunity. The Technician B will provide routine technical support to the laboratory under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) or senior laboratory staff. Responsibilities include assisting with experiments, maintaining laboratory supplies and inventory, and performing standard laboratory procedures. The position will involve exposure to a wide range of research techniques, including flow cytometry, cell culture, PCR, immunohistochemistry, and mouse colony maintenance. The Technician B will also contribute to the overall functioning of the laboratory by ensuring adherence to safety, compliance, and operational protocols. Collaboration with faculty and researchers across multiple CUIMC departments will support projects in cancer immunology, autoimmunity, transplantation, infectious diseases, and related areas.
