Position Summary
The User Support Services unit provides and coordinates IT support services to staff across the University Library. The Unit is committed to maximizing uptime and providing modern tools for optimal efficiency and productivity.

The temporary Technical Support Technician will assist with computer unboxing, imaging, deployment and surplus workflows, and assist end users in routine technical support tasks as demonstrated. Work is 100% on site.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Graduation from high school and one year in the field of technology related to the position's role.
- Computer coursework may be substituted year-for- year for the required experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Journey level requires an additional six months experience
- Advanced level requires an additional one year of experience.
Management Preferences
IT/Technology work experience or familiarity.
Special Physical/Mental Requirements
Must be able to move computers from place to place (floor to table, table to cart, etc.) with or without accommodations.
