POSITION SUMMARY



Centerra Group LLC (a Constellis group of companies) is a world leader in providing high-end armed and unarmed security personnel, paramilitary forces, law enforcement officers, fire-rescue services, aviation operations and support, base operations and facility management, entry level and advanced training, and cleared personnel to government and selected commercial customers. Centerra is looking for an Administrative Assistant who can obtain their NRC Secret Security Clearance for our contract in Eunice, NM. The Administrative Assistant works at the URENCO USA badging office and reports to the Centerra on-site General Manager with daily interaction with the site employees and visitors.



RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Create a welcoming and positive first impression as the first point of contact for visitors and employees who need assistance.


  • Provide general clerical and administrative support to the Centerra General Manager.


  • Provide assistance with general clerical and administrative support to URENCO USA Security Department.


  • Conduct payroll input for Centerra employees


  • Monitor telephone for incoming calls and provide a professional response, and route calls to appropriate recipients.


  • Input information into various tracking databases and logs.


  • Provide assistance to visitors who are requesting escorts required access to the Controlled Access Area


  • Assist site employees in processing visitor requests for site access.


  • Assist the URENCO USA Security Department staff with administrative support.


  • Issue Vehicle Pool Parking tags.


  • Order departmental supplies


  • Set up General Employee Training (GET) requalification and GET test out


  • Add new employee records into C-CURE.


  • Assist with badging activities.


  • Assist the URENCO USA FFD Coordinator.


  • Contact appropriate URENCO USA support departments for office requests.


  • Submit all URENCO USA Security Department IT requests.


  • Finger printing.


  • Electronic filing.


  • Issue CAA Temporary/Permanent Vehicle Passes.


  • Perform other responsible duties as assigned
  • Work is typically based on a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
  • May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Required a High School Diploma or GED
  • Will be subjected to a Security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for National Agency Check Inquiry.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain an NRC Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal and credit background investigation.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random drug testing.
  • One year or more of clerical and/or administrative experience.
  • Preferred Skills/Experience knowledge of computer software applications (i.e., MS Word and Excel)
  • Preferred Skills/Experience knowledge of payroll services and timekeeping systems.
  • Preferred Skills/Experience a plus. Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Preferred Skills/Experience ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple competing tasks.
  • Preferred Skills/Experience should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred Skills/Experience must present professional appearance and telephone etiquette.
  • Preferred Skills/Experience Spanish language skills a plus.
