Position Responsibilities

As a Senior Technical Consultant specializing in Extensions & Integrations for the Deltek Suite, you will lead the design, guidance, and delivery of tailored ERP solutions that drive operational excellence for our clients. You will independently lead standard to moderate complexity engagements across all customer types; collaborate on high complexity scenarios. You will work with both internal teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements, architect solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. This position is ideal for an experienced, technically proficient, client-focused professional who excels in dynamic environments and is passionate about leveraging AI and automation to enhance business outcomes. While you will handle scenarios independently, you will receive support from senior colleagues and work as part of a team on high-complexity engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of ERP extensions and integrations within the Deltek Suite for all customer types, including enterprise-level organizations.
  • Independently manage engagements of standard to moderate complexity; collaborate with senior colleagues on higher complexity scenarios.
  • Gather and analyze client requirements to translate business needs into scalable, robust technical solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive, detailed specifications and documentation for solution architecture and project delivery.
  • Own end-to-end development projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with clients at all levels, including senior stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Architect solutions using core development skills, including SQL, C#, XML, JSON, and RESTful APIs for integration and extension tasks.
  • Leverage AI-first methodology throughout the project lifecycle, utilizing AI-powered tools for requirements analysis, specification generation, code reviews, testing automation, and documentation creation.
  • Provide expert hands-on troubleshooting support during development, diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to SQL queries, API integrations, C# extensions, and data transformation logic.
  • Support change management initiatives for customers and confidently engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Proactively recommend tooling, automation, and best practices for continuous improvement.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Proven expertise in ERP systems, specifically the Deltek Suite
  • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture and technical design with a demonstrated track record of successful implementations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proven capacity to diagnose complex business problems and recommend optimal solutions independently
  • Excellent specification writing skills, with the ability to create precise, comprehensive design specifications
  • Proven ability to document advanced business logic, validation rules, integration flows, and error handling in structured formats
  • Strong requirements gathering and analysis skills across diverse business contexts
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills, including leading customer-facing sessions and presenting technical solutions to non-technical audiences at all levels
  • Proven track record of successful end-to-end development project delivery with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in SQL, C#, XML, JSON, and REST/SOAP APIs
  • Experience with integration development technologies, including RESTful APIs and web services
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code and Copilot
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific business processes across multiple sectors
  • Working knowledge of middleware/iPaaS solutions (e.g., Workato, Airflow)
  • Strong quality assurance and UAT expertise, with experience designing comprehensive test plans and validating solutions against business requirements
  • Experience in tooling and automation for technical projects
  • Basic knowledge of data modeling and transformation techniques
  • Strong understanding of change management principles in ERP implementations
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and managing complex customer expectations

Compensation Info

The U.S. salary range for this position is $72,000.00-$127,000.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
