The Senior Learning Specialist is a hands-on learning professional who drives strategy and supports Operations learning & development programs that strengthen employee skills across the employee life cycle. This includes leading the learning strategy and program effectiveness across Operations Teams including Contact Center.

In this role, you will serve as alearning partner with the business, as a trusted advisor, in a blended role of learning strategist, designer, facilitator and program manager. You will work closely with HR partners and business leaders to ensure employees and managers have the tools, resources, and confidence to thrive in their role. Additionally, you ensure trainers and SMEs have materials and training they need to be successful in deliver live learning sessions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate learning and development professional who enjoys blending program strategy, design and development while ensuring programs address core skills within Operations Teams.

What you'll do...

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify learning needs and recommend targeted solutions.

  • Design programmatic strategy with some development and delivery of learning content with emphasis on New Hire and Ongoing development of operations roles.

  • Conduct skill analysis and work with the business to evaluate quality to recommend, design and implement solutions to close skill gaps.

  • Develop content as needed and/or work with Learning Designers on learning solutions.

  • Facilitate sessions that equip SMEs, trainers and supervisors to ensure they can confidently deliver accurate content and ensure successful knowledge transfer to employees.

  • Monitor program success, provide recommendations and gain buy in to improve the learning experience.

  • Monitor program success and Track participation, collect feedback, and analyze results to continuously improve learning impact.

  • Stay actively engaged with operations teams and roles as well as stay informed about industry trends and incorporate best practices into program design and facilitation.

About you...

  • 6 years+ of experience as a Learning Strategist or Learning Business Partner Development with emphasis in call center environment and/or healthcare.

  • Experience with instructional design and building blended learning solutions (in-person, virtual, and digital).

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups effectively.

  • Ability to manage projects, deadlines, multiple stakeholders and matrixed team members simultaneously.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence without authority.

  • Bachelor's degree required; professional coaching certification or applicable HR/L&D certifications a plus.

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $85,000 - $95,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
