Position Description

Job Description

ENSCO is seeking a PNT Systems Engineer. This position provides support to the Precision Navigation and Timing Program Program Office specifically in support of the Global Positioning System (GPS).

Duties include:




  • Provide technical expertise and systems integration support to ensure an optimal integrated GPS System design



  • Contribute to the overarching approach and processes for integrating, synchronizing, tracking and analyzing dependencies across programmatic and organizational boundaries



  • Develop engineering and data models and populate them with up-to-date information to enable automated integration analyses



  • Provide technical support for test activities that characterize system performance



  • Perform and present data analysis that drive decisions on government programs



  • Support GPS Enterprise Risk & Opportunities management




Qualifications Required:




  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and 9 years of systems integration and systems engineering related or equivalent experience



  • Experience working across space, ground, and user segment organizations to coordinate and identify system requirements and key performance parameters to ensure end-to-end mission performance requirements are met



  • Experience with system architecture development



  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams



  • Must be able to work well in multi-team setting, and willing to take on additional technical and administrative tasks/duties as needed



  • Space vehicle as well as other GPS related experience



  • Active Secret Clearance is required, for which you must be a U.S. Citizen




Qualifications Desired:




  • Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance



  • Experience and familiarity working with DoD acquisition organizations
