Summer Maintenance Helper

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning how manufacturing equipment operates, and being part of a team that keeps production running smoothly.

What you'll do:

As a member of our maintenance team for the summer, you'll help support day-to-day plant operations by assisting with general maintenance tasks and projects around the facility.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting maintenance technicians with routine maintenance and repairs

• Supporting preventative maintenance activities on plant equipment

• Helping with equipment cleaning, lubrication, and inspections

• Completing small facility improvement or repair projects

• Maintaining a clean and organized maintenance workspace

• Following all plant safety, food safety, and quality standards

• Assisting with general upkeep of equipment and tools

This role provides valuable exposure to industrial maintenance within a food manufacturing environment.

What you need to join our team:

• High school student, college student, or individual interested in maintenance or manufacturing work

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning how equipment works

• Ability to safely use basic tools and follow instructions

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, equipment movement, and temperature variation

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods

• Reliable attendance and a strong team mindset

• Experience in maintenance, construction, mechanical work, or manufacturing is helpful but not required.

Our Weyauwega, WI, plant is home to approximately 225 employees. This facility produces award-winning feta and aged cheddar cheese, as well as lactose and reduced lactose whey.
