This position is located at the RTS Operations Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Essential Functions:
  • Support RGNext subcontracts. Subcontract efforts primarily include staffing, services, and repairs required to support project activities. These are often in support of program activities in remote locations.
  • Support negotiating and administer multiple subcontract types to include, but not limited to, Labor Hour, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement, or Time and Materials.
  • Evaluate, identify and select suppliers and business partners. Generates and negotiates types of basic ordering agreements.
  • Work closely with HR, Hiring Managers and subcontractors to define and implement procurement strategies.
  • Support soliciting proposals from prospective subcontractors and employs value analysis techniques to analyze cost/price, technical capability and financial viability, conducting investigations to ensure ability to perform within cost and schedule.
  • Monitors and reports cost, schedule and funding status of subcontractors and recommends or implements corrective action as necessary.
  • Prepares subcontract documentation in accordance with established company, customer and government regulations.
  • Provides assistance to teams obtaining personnel support.
  • Generates and monitors Proprietary Information Agreements with suppliers and potential suppliers.
  • Supports program project requirements and executes other subcontracts in accordance with program needs.
  • Maintains electronic purchase order files in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) 252.244-7001.
  • Negotiate and establish all prime contract flow downs, insurance requirements, and terms and conditions with subcontractors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Two (2) or more years of subcontract management or related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project.
  • Experience with various subcontract types including but not limited to T&M, Labor Hour, FFP and Cost reimbursable desired.
  • Experience performing Cost and Price Analysis (CAPA) techniques, Commercial Item Determination (CID) techniques desired.
  • Experience with Costpoint Financial reporting system desired.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to travel - Some travel may occur on nights, weekends, or holidays.
