Shipping & Receiving Assistant

As a Trex Shipping & Receiving Assistant you'll be providing support for inbound and outbound shipping activities.

A member of our Logistics Team, you'll be helping us manage key functions for outbound deliveries and inbound shipments.

DUTIES

• Schedule and monitor shipping and delivery appointments for all inbound shipments and outbound deliveries.
• Integrate purchase orders into J.D. Edwards.
• Serve as primary point of contact between Trex and transportation providers.
• Prepare outbound sales orders and customs paperwork.
• Resolve customer service issues pertaining to released sales orders.
• Maintain records, both hard copy and electronically to meet Trex's data retention policies.
• Manage inventory as it applies to finished goods and daily cycle counts.

EXPERIENCE

A high school degree is required, along with two or more years' previous experience in an administrative or logistical role is preferred, but if you've worked as a warehouse clerk or handled shipping requirements for domestic and international carriers, you're Trex material for sure.

Have experience in inventory management? You'll fit in just fine.
