The Marketing Supervisor - Arizona & New Mexico, is a mid level, execution focused role, supporting two high growth markets with a primary emphasis on member engagement and retention. Success depends on blending strong storytelling and copywriting with disciplined project management, timeline stewardship, and comfort operating within a matrixed, compliance driven environment. Candidates should expect a 90 day ramp to independently manage ongoing programs, approvals, and cross functional workflows.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing - Arizona & New Mexico, this role manages the day to day execution of member engagement and communication initiatives, adapting proven programs and content for local relevance rather than building net new from scratch. The Marketing Supervisor collaborates with colleagues across markets and functions to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, aligned with requirements, and effective at the local level. The role also provides tactical support to PR and Communications, including approvals, story sourcing, and long form testimonial development. While the role does not set marketing strategy or lead the function, it plays a critical role in effective market level execution. The Marketing Supervisor works closely with Marketing Specialists and collaborates with marketing colleagues across the organization to adapt proven initiatives cost effectively rather than always building from scratch.

Work Location:

  • This position is a hybrid position based out of Phoenix, AZ - expected minimum 3 days in office. Candidates must be within commuting distance and able to work onsite as needed
  • Note: The position will be fully remote through the summer 2026 and then move to hybrid with the opening of a new office in the Tempe/Mesa area

Primary Responsibilities:
The Marketing Supervisor will be responsible for:
Market Execution & Campaign Management:

  • Develop and execute local marketing initiatives that complement national programs and drive member engagement and retention
  • Manage daily execution of ongoing retention and utilization campaigns, including timelines, routing, and cross functional coordination
  • Lead the brief to approval workflow, assembling inputs, managing compliance/legal routing, tracking turn times, and ensuring audit ready documentation

Content Development & Storytelling:

  • Write original patient- and provider-facing copy, from brief through final draft, including campaign assets, newsletters, and engagement content
  • Identify, interview, and craft long form member/patient testimonials with editorial sensitivity and compliance awareness
  • Serve as an editor and quality reviewer for materials developed by internal partners or other team members

Cross Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with marketing counterparts in other markets to adapt scalable initiatives cost effectively
  • Coordinate closely with PR/Communications teams on story sourcing, approvals, and content deployment across channels

Reporting & Insights:

  • Contribute clear, concise insights for inclusion in monthly dashboards and executive reports, highlighting campaign performance, member engagement, and opportunities to refine retention programs
  • Maintain working knowledge of local performance indicators and provide data informed recommendations

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in copywriting, with demonstrated storytelling skills, including interviewing stakeholders and crafting narratives with limited guidance
  • Demonstrated experience building and sustaining trusted relationships with leaders / key stakeholders both virtually and in person
  • Experience working with leaders / key stakeholders to support communication and PR related activities (e.g. messaging, content development)
  • Proven ability to ramp quickly in new environments, learning informal processes and actively seeking context and feedback
  • Ability to write with precision and adherence to compliance constraints, minimizing unnecessary revision cycles
  • Clear understanding of strategy driven storytelling that aligns content with objectives even when direction is high level
  • Advanced PowerPoint ability to build narrative driven, executive ready presentations
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, independently applying appropriate marketing tools/approaches to loosely defined problems
  • Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage parallel workstreams without sacrificing quality
  • Ability to travel up to 15% - within commutable distance of office for events and access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare, health services, insurance, or other regulated industries (e.g., financial services, pharmaceuticals, government)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
