The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Will work in the Cath Lab alongside physician during cases and also monitor and document procedural events and hemodynamics. Operates and assess monitoring of patients in the Cardiac Catherization Lab. Administer individualized, professional patient care through efficient knowledge and safe practice of cardiac catherization lab procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma.
• Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program.
• Radiology license and/or CVT ( cardiovascular Tech) or RCIS (Registered Cardiology Interventional Specialist)

Preferred:

Radiology Tech license preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):

• Current RCIS certification or RAD license.
• Minimum of 6 months clinical experience preferred but not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Scheduling Requirements :

• Per diem
• Days
• Some on call hours will be required off hours and weekends.

Essential Functions:

• Assumes responsibility for patient care and monitoring before, during and after procedures.
• Assists MD with Cath/PCI, peripheral, (Mitraclip, Watchman), EP cases.
• Adheres to on call policy requirements.
• Executes special assignment with the lab. Participates in quality improvement programs and inventory control.
• Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care.
