Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a New Business Contract Coordinator!

About the role

The New Business Contract Coordinator is the back office for all things contracts. They are responsible for organization, research, assembly and mailing preparation of Retirement New Business complex contracts. The New Business Contract Coordinator will also provide quality checks of assembled complex contracts in preparation for mailing. In addition, the New Business Contract Coordinator will perform necessary filing documentation, interdepartmental communication, and other administrative duties.

What you'll do in this role



  • Contract Output Review, Organization and Data Entry: Perform assembly and quality check for Retirement contract output, using multiple administrative systems.
  • Knowledge & understanding of specific partner agreements, state regulatory requirements and compliance mailing requirements applicable to all contract output.
  • Management of workflow to ensure completion of assigned daily tasks to meet established service level agreements.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve assembly issues or defects, reporting them to management as necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency and quality.
  • Communication: Active and open communication within team and within department to support workflow. Strong relationship management with departments within and outside of New Business that support contract related work (Contract Output and Enterprise Forms Teams, Compliance, Output BPO and Ricoh).
  • Participation in team/ department meetings and training.
  • Serve as contact for contract related communication leading to resolution for contract mailing.
  • Monitor individual email and IM chat, responding to inquiries in timely manner or route to appropriate person, team or unit.
  • Understanding of department policies, procedures and other identified administrative duties.

Compensation

Salary Range: $22.00- $ 33.95plus eligibility for annual bonus program
