Description

In the Agile Delivery Lead role, you'll ensure your teams' delivery success by leveraging the appropriate methodology to enable predictable, quality delivery while maintaining a focus on the continuous improvement of the team (Agile + traditional Project Management hybrid approach). The Agile Delivery Lead will optimize team productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes on the team.

General Responsibilities:

Delivery



  • Supports one or more teams through Kanban/Scrum Agile methodologies, with the appropriate amount of Project Management best practices
  • Collaborates with designers, developers, clients, and Product to determine scope and timelines
  • Ensures team(s) maintains focus on quality and continuous delivery
  • Provides visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress
  • Is well managed - understands and coaches the team on delivery controls, compliance to minimize operational, and reputational risk
  • Understands domain architecture and targets to identify upstream and downstream dependencies and to support the team in risk management
  • Proactively identifies impediments and appropriately resolves using network of peers and formal channels (including escalation if required)
  • Supports teams to remove impediments and manage dependencies for delivery


Coaching



  • Integrates Agile principles into team practices and work products
  • Coaches Product Owner and team on backlog refinement and prioritization
  • Utilizes team feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and works with team to continuously improve
  • Innovates with practices and frameworks through experimentation to improve the team and their delivery
  • Develops an understanding and encouragement of team's engineering innovation and improvement (engineering practices, DevOps, etc.)
  • Coaches the team to improve collaboration and self-organization
  • Develops ability to act as an Agile mentor and coach to others in Agile or Project Management roles
  • Communicates with leaders across the organization on a regular basis to ensure transparency into delivery, risks, issues, etc.


Basic Qualifications:



  • At least 2 years of Agile experience
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or PMI's Agile Certified Professional (ACP) certification
  • Experience working with a hybrid delivery model (Agile + traditional Project Management)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 1+ year of experience with Jira or some other project / work management tool
  • 5+ years of Agile experience
  • SAFe certified or experience (or other Scaled Agile Frameworks)


Salary offered will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This position is also eligible to participate in either an applicable incentive compensation plan for the position or a discretionary profit sharing bonus program.
