| Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit |
The Department of Recreation and Wellness (RecWell) is housed in the Division of Student Affairs. RecWell fosters comprehensive wellness by engaging students and the
UNCG community in experiential and educational opportunities. We promote lifelong success through meaningful and inclusive programs and resources. RecWell offers comprehensive recreation and wellness programming including; fitness, aquatics, informal recreation, outdoor adventures, competitive sports, Esports, and wellness education. The department strives to provide opportunities that enhance student success.

| Position Summary |
This position is critical to the day-to-day business functions within the Department of Recreation and Wellness. The position summary includes: Coordinate hiring, terminations and all paperwork needed for approximately 300 student and temporary employee positions by processing personnel action forms and input of all leave reports and hours worked for departmental staff, temporary hires and students. This position also processes all accounts receivable, accounts payable, and deposits for several program areas; manages oversight of numerous funds; maintain various files in accordance with records retention policies; and serves as an HR/Payroll/
SEO liaison to the department. |
