Integrity Municipal Systems, LLC (the “Company”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cleanwater1, Inc., is a stable and fast-growing company specializing in lime slaking equipment, odor control, and chlorine scrubber equipment and aftermarket services, and chemical feed equipment for drinking water and wastewater applications.

Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Buyer will perform various purchasing/inventory control and administrative tasks. The tasks will involve supporting functions for the Manufacturing and Finance departments.  This position is based at the Company’s Zeeland, Michigan facility.

Essential Job Functions
Inventory Control
  • Assist with organizing inventory;
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions to inventory issues;
  • Coordinate the procurement of inventory;
  • Maintain inventory accuracy;
  • Assist with disposition of inventory when it becomes obsolete due to product life cycle or engineering changes;
  • Record transaction entries in system to maintain inventory records;
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgement in day-to-day job duties;
Purchasing
  • Place purchase orders;
  • Follow up on deliveries;
  • Maintain vendor relationships;
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors;
  • Analyze material demand, identify shortages, and expedite orders;
  • Assist Manufacturing with manufacturing, purchase and sales orders and shipment activities;
  • Provide order lead time guidance to Customer Service and Project Management departments as required;
  • Setup new item numbers;
  • Assist Finance department with resolving invoicing discrepancies and initial vendor set-ups;
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgement in day-to-day job duties;

Required Qualifications
  • Administrative experience in a professional setting;
  • Prior inventory control/purchasing experience;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfortable speaking on the telephone;
  • Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision;
  • Data entry experience;
  • Familiarity with ERP systems in general
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word; and
  • Ability to multi-task and support multiple departments.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in business, computers, or office management;

Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time;
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus; and
  • Ability to look at computer monitors for much of the workday.

Work Environment
  • Approximately 80% Office Setting; and
  • Approximately 20% Light Industrial – May be exposed to areas of high noise levels and industrial facilities.
  • Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditions.

This position is non-exempt. Compensation is dependent on skill level. The base salary range for this position is between $25 and $28 per hour. Benefits package and incentives are provided.
