The Machine Shop Technician will be responsible for performing all necessary tasks to fabricate and prepare high purity fluid handling assemblies and subassemblies using a variety of machining equipment.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Advanced machine tool knowledge.
  • Ability to read/interpret weldment drawings, detailed specifications, written instructions and QC documents.
  • Experience with measuring, hand & power tools, Calipers, Height Gauges, Micrometers
  • Sit and work on a computer for long periods of time
  • Safety glasses and other required protection should be worn when out in the production area
  • Good organizational skills.
  • High energy level, self-motivated and directed, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
  • Knowledgeable of the importance of proper material handling.
  • Cutting, facing, and deburring of tubing from 1/8" - 1".
  • Use Tri-tool to achieve proper dimensions of cut tubing.
  • Cleaning and finishing of welded parts to remove color.
  • Understanding of quality requirements.
  • Use analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot problems.
  • Identify a measurement on a print (metric, fractional, and decimal).
  • Able to take accurate measurements using a caliper, height gauge, and tape measure.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools and how to safely use them.
  • Able to keep work area clean and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Safety training on all equipment
  • Experience setting, communicating, and achieving goals.
  • Ability to provide preventive maintenance to shop equipment.
  • Experience in the use of calipers, protractors and height gauge.
  • Knowledge of machining processes for ampoules and sensors.
  • Ability to identify the use of the accessory (fixture) in the process.
  • Maintain a well-organized daily work schedule
  • Collaborate with team members to find areas for improvement.
  • Organization and efficiency
  • Team working skills
  • Understand the existing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) used in Machine Shop
