Genesis10 is currently seeking a Clinical Application Analyst for a hybrid remote position with a Renowned Healthcare Organization located in Rochester, MN. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $55.00 per hour W2, depending on skill and experience level.


Position Overview

The IT Application Analyst - Inpatient Virtual Care & Monitoring is responsible for supporting and optimizing the technology that enables virtual patient interactions within the hospital environment. This role focuses on the configuration, maintenance, and integration of inpatient virtual care platforms to ensure reliable, secure, and seamless digital care delivery.

Working closely with IT teams, clinical operations, product leadership, and vendor partners, this role ensures the virtual care platform remains stable, scalable, and aligned with clinical workflows.

This role directly enhances patient care by enabling safe, reliable, and accessible virtual interactions within the hospital setting. By ensuring inpatient video visit technology integrates seamlessly into care delivery, the Application Analyst helps improve patient outcomes, supports care team collaboration, and strengthens the organization's digital health capabilities.

Key Responsibilities Application Configuration & Platform Management
  • Configure and maintain platform settings, user roles, templates, and operational parameters.

  • Ensure platform performance and configuration aligns with defined technical workflows and operational needs.

  • Identify opportunities for platform optimization, configuration standardization, and minor system enhancements.

Monitoring & Issue Resolution
  • Monitor application behavior and performance across environments.

  • Troubleshoot application and integration issues and coordinate resolution with IT teams and vendors.

  • Participate in incident response activities and help minimize service disruption.

Integration Support
  • Support system integrations including EHR connectivity, language services, and virtual care monitoring platforms.

  • Assist with configuration validation, interface troubleshooting, and data mapping support.

  • Document system dependencies and integration touchpoints.

Vendor & System Updates
  • Partner with technical teams to validate vendor updates, patches, and new functionality.

  • Ensure compatibility across software, hardware, and system environments.

  • Support configuration readiness and testing during updates or deployments.

Documentation & Change Management
  • Maintain documentation related to system configurations, operational procedures, and integration points.

  • Track known issues and configuration changes.

  • Contribute to root cause analysis and change validation activities following incidents.

Collaboration

This position works closely with:

  • IT platform and integration teams

  • Product Manager and Product Owner for prioritization alignment

  • Deployment Services for environment readiness and release coordination

  • Hospital operations teams

  • Vendor technical teams

Together, these partnerships ensure inpatient virtual care and monitoring systems remain stable, scalable, and operationally reliable.
