Description

The Digital Designer's role is to create engaging online content. You'll be responsible for producing content that supports assigned Rocky Brands' properties marketing strategies, including digital advertising, email graphics, social media graphics, web pages, interfaces, and additional web elements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead on designing and prototyping user interfaces and digital content for paid advertising, email, social media, website experiences, digital marketing campaigns, and other digital platforms. Bring print driven campaign styles to the web for a cohesive campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent designs that are data-driven, tested, creative, useful, and align with technical, SEO, WCAG accessibility, and brand standards. Continuously seek opportunities to elevate the digital experience through enhanced creative, content, and other digital/web elements.
  • Remain at the forefront of digital design by staying current with latest digital design trends, UX functionality and regulatory compliance. Optimize information architecture for accessibility, SEO, and performance. Perform design reviews, QA, and unit testing.
  • Plan, track and manage multiple projects involving various workflows, personnel, outside agencies, and delivery dates.


Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



  • Associates Degree or equivalent from an accredited college with course work in Graphic Design, UI/UX design, digital design or related courses are preferred but can be substituted with two (2) years of related experience in a corporate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma, Adobe Express and Microsoft Office applications.
  • An understanding of content management systems, social media, loyalty programs, digital advertising networks, and new internet technologies.
  • Familiarity with web design best practices, web usability standards and best practices.
  • Understanding of basic web languages.
  • Good communication and organization skills including file naming conventions, written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain design systems that closely adhere brand standards and styles.
  • Ability to autonomously multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Bonus: Experience and/or passion for the Outdoors, Work, Western, Marine or Farm/Ranch segments.


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Corporate Office: This position operates in a professional office environment. Work is typically performed in a climatecontrolled setting with standard office equipment, including computers, phones, copiers, and printers. The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, as well as to move throughout the office to access files, equipment, and meeting spaces. Noise levels are generally low to moderate.

The employee is expected to maintain a neat, clean, and professional workspace and follow company guidelines for workplace appearance and conduct. The role may require occasional adjustments to support business needs, such as attending inoffice meetings, collaborating with colleagues onsite, or participating in video calls where professional oncamera appearance is expected.
