Maintenance Technician- Tucson House

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician at Tucson House!

Gorman & Company is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep Tucson House, our 360-unit affordable housing high-rise community, running smoothly and looking its best. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining safe, comfortable homes for our residents while supporting the overall operations of one of Tucson's largest affordable housing communities. What You'll Do

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building systems.

• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and on-call emergencies.

• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing unit turns and make-ready tasks.

• Conduct daily property walks and inspections to maintain safety, curb appeal, and cleanliness.

• Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and pool areas.

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.

• Support seasonal property needs and ensure tools, supplies, and equipment are properly maintained.

What You'll Bring

• At least one year of property maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade experience.

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

• HVAC EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.

• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.

• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and participate in an on-call rotation.
