POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Business Analyst (CBA) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports, extracts and dashboards within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. The CBA will regularly develop reports, Radar content, and Dashboards using Slicer Dicer, and Reporting Workbench. Each CBA will be assigned a set of requests, incidents and projects to multitask and will be expected to maintain open communication with end users to define report specifications and establish an expected timeline of development, validation, and delivery. CBA will work with application and clinical team members as needed to understand underlying workflows and where to find pertinent information in Chronicles to ensure complete and accurate data is provided. Participation is expected at weekly team and all staff meetings to keep up to date on all current projects and initiatives. Position: Report Writer/Applications Developer Department: Clinical and Enterprise Analytics Schedule: Full Time JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field or relevant equivalent work experience needed.
  • Relevant certifications in Epic Reporting are a plus.

EXPERIENCE:


  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in report development, with a focus on healthcare reporting in Epic EHR systems. Experience with Epic's Reporting Workbench, Radar, and Slicer Dicer is preferred.
  • Experience in lieu of education is also considered.
  • Experience configuring reporting for multiple service areas within the Community Connect network is preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with reporting tools, and knowledge of programming language. Familiarity with data structure concepts and ETL processes is a plus.

  • Analytical Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Compensation Range:

$71,500.00- $104,000.00

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
