Position Title: Staging Technician
Wage: $16.00 - $23.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 9:00am - 5:45pm (Monday - Friday) QPS Employment Group is hiring Staging Technicians for a company in Elgin, IL. In this role, you'll prepare, configure, and test equipment for retail store deployments, ensuring every device meets quality standards before reaching the customer. Staging Technician Responsibilities: - Read and follow detailed instructions on work travel sheets and staging documentation - Receive, verify, and prepare parts, equipment and counts for testing and deployment - Set up and configure a variety of equipment, including scanners, printers, PCs, POS systems, batteries, cash drawers, and tablets - Follow established ESD procedures to ensure safety and equipment integrity - Use diagnostic software to test and confirm equipment functionality before deployment - Ensure each order meets specific customer and project standards - Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and on time - Meet established deadlines for staging orders Requirements for Staging Technician: - High School Diploma or GED - Ability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, with frequent handling expected throughout shifts - Proficient in Microsoft Office programs - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Spanish - Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and multitask - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures - A+ Certification preferred - Ability to work mandatory overtime as required to meet project deadlines schaumburg@qpsemployment.com IND133 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
