Job Title: Photography/Videography Editor

SUMMARY
Agile Defense is seeking a professional photography and general video production in a government, corporate, or organization setting. The Photographer/Videographer will need to be proficient in the use of camera
and video equipment ranging from conventional equipment to more specialized equipment used by
professional photographers and videographers.
The Photographer/Videographer will need to be able to operate audio and lighting equipment for both photography and video productions. The Photographer/Videographer will also need to be capable of photo and video editing, including researching accompanying music and sound effects, image compositing, and image manipulation.
The Photographer/Videographer should be able to shoot and edit technically proficient, captivating
videos and photographs. The Photographer/Videographer should also be able to create motion graphics animations and storyboards for video productions. The Photographer/Videographer should
also be able to able to create other graphic effects including narration, 3D animation and sound effects and be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Cinema 4D.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Use a variety of camera equipment and operate lights and audio equipment to support the clients
photography/videography needs.
* Assemble and disassemble videography, photography, lighting, and audio equipment for shoots and projects.
* Use Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Cinema 4D to:
* Capture and edit compelling, technically proficient video, including for multiple social media networks.
* Create graphic effects including narration, 3D and motion graphics animation, and sound effects.
* Perform photo retouching, image compositing, and manipulation as requested by the client.
* Create storyboards for video productions.
* Research and obtain music for incorporation with videos or other content.
* Maintain a videography and photography calendar.
* Organize and archive client videos and photos in specified electronic platform for transfer to NARA if needed.
* Strive to stay abreast of new audiovisual techniques and equipment and provide recommendations for the purchase of specialized camera and video production equipment and software as needed.
* Perform other related tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications:
Education, Background, and Years of Experience:
Associate's degree in photography, videography, or related field and five years of professional experience in photography and general video production in a government, corporate, or organizational setting. An equivalent combination of education and photography/videography experience may be substituted. The successful completion of an accredited certificate program in a related field is a plus.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills:
Expertise in the use of camera equipment ranging from conventional equipment found in any commercial camera shop, such as DSLRs and digital cinema cameras, and specialized equipment used by professional photographers (i.e. strobe studio lighting).
Proficient in creating graphic effects including narration, 3D animation and sound effects and motion graphics.
* Expertise in operating lights and audio equipment.
* Expertise in photo retouching, image compositing, and manipulation.
* Expertise in shooting and editing compelling, technically proficient video.
* Proficient in researching and obtaining music for incorporation with videos or other content.
* Proficient in maintaining videography and photography calendar.
* Proficient in assembling and disassembling videography, photography, lighting, and audio equipment for shoots and projects.
* Proficient in organizing and archiving videos and photos in specified electronic platform for transfer to NARA if needed.
* Expert knowledge of applications used in video and image editing, digital file formats, analog and digital photography, compression tracks and techniques.
* Proficient in staying abreast of new audiovisual techniques and equipment and providing recommendations for the purchase of specialized camera and video production equipment and software as needed.
* Skill on the Mac platform is required. Must be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Cinema 4D.
* Expertise in creating motion graphics animations.
* Expertise in creating storyboards for video productions.
* Expertise in capturing and editing videos for multiple social media networks.
* Ability to multitask, work under tight deadlines, and capable of working independently or in a team.
* Must have excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to interact well with clients, co-workers, and management.
* Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including attendance at evening and/or weekend events and travel as required.
* Perform other related tasks as assigned.
* Must have a professional photography portfolio that demonstrates mastership of digital photography and videography including lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Environmental Conditions:
Onsite in Washington D.C 5 days a week. Must be able to travel around the United States of America.
Candidate must pass a government clearance process.
Physical Requirements:
