Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Supervisor, the Human Resources Coordinator assists with facilitating human resources processes for all staff, including staff recruiting and onboarding, employee file and profile maintenance, and maintaining the integrity of the HRIS and timekeeping systems.

This is a full-time position based on-site at our corporate office located in Woodbury, MN. Monday - Friday schedule of 8:00am - 4:30pm (schedule subject to change).

Primary duties:



  • Maintains accurate and complete HRIS and applicant tracking records, compiling reports from the database as needed. Enter data related to new hires, employee terminations, demographic information changes and performance evaluations.
  • Complete new employee onboarding duties including background checks, I-9 documents, scheduling drug/health screening, completing reference checks as needed, working with IT to ensure new employees are set up with technology, collaborating with education and credentialing departments and hiring leaders to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Complete employment verifications in a timely manner.
  • Respond to employee questions and assist with handbook and policy interpretations.
  • Maintain electronic employee HR files, ensuring that files are organized according to established guide, accurate, up-to-date, and meet compliance standards.
  • Assist employees and managers in the navigation and use of employee timecard system, educating in time entry, schedule maintenance, etc.
  • Provide administrative and project support to HR department, supporting continuous improvement efforts, communicate with internal partners regularly.
  • Conduct recruitment effort for assigned positions, including the sourcing, screening, interviewing and extending offers with appropriate approvals.
  • Actively participate in the improvement and facilitation of new employee orientations
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned


Summit's hiring range for this position is $22.70 to $28.38 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation. If you are hired at Summit, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, experience, and internal equity.

Experience
