Production Trainer

Position Summary

The Trainer will train and qualify plant employees on job tasks, safety, quality, and standard work to ensure consistent, safe, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Train new and current employees in assigned jobs and equipment
• Demonstrate proper work methods and standard work
• Support safety, quality, and compliance training
• Verify employee understanding and job qualification
• Assist with cross-training and skill development
• Follow and reinforce plant procedures and work instructions
• Help update training materials and job instructions
• Work with supervisors to identify training needs
• Support continuous improvement and Lean activities

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• 1-5 years of manufacturing or production experience
• Good communication and coaching skills
• Ability to work safely on the shop floor
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, training systems)
