Description

* Assist supervisor to be sure that employees are producing product according to company specifications.

* Complete inventory skid tickets and attach to skid of finished goods and keep white copies.

* Correctly complete production reports and turn into supervisor at the end of shift with

* Make sure all employees on lines are productive.

* Call Maintenance for of any problems that may arise and inform Supervisor of all on go going issues.

* Inspect filters and filter packaging at various stages of production, making corrections to meet quality specs.

* Keep accurate hourly production/scrap/downtime records.

* Keep work area clean and free from debris.

* Make machinery and die line adjustments as necessary.

* Make sure all materials are available in a quick, efficient manner to eliminate downtime.

* Must be able to determine if material is good quality.

* Order and return raw materials.

* Performs transactions within internal computer systems

* Reject any raw materials that do not meet company specifications and inform Quality or your Supervisor of the problem.

* Responsible for making sure that raw material is ready to be able to produce product in a timely, efficient manner so that down time is limited.

* Responsible for producing and packaging product that meets company quality specifications.

* Scan QR labels, print and attach to skid of finished goods.

* Sets up line for the filter production; manage resources to achieve the highest efficiency.

* Be sure that employees are working in a safe manner by adhering to all safety regulations.

* Follow directions given by management and supervisor.

Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager.

Requirements

* Prior work experience in manufacturing (PREFERRED)

* Ability to work and train others in multiple positions on the line

* Strong communication skills

* Must be able to use a tape measure accurately

* Must be able to work well with others

* Must be self-motivated and need very little supervision.

* Must have basic math skills and ability to read and follow a schedule

Ability to operate a pallet jack and all other material handling tools
