Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Business Unit Specialist for the Budget Office.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Manages responsibilities for the budget of the Office of Executive Vice Chancellor Provost, Office of Vice Provost of Faculty Affairs, and Rutgers Learning Centers.
- Manages financial reporting, quarterly forecasting, and input of annual budgets into Enterprise Planning and Budget Cloud Services (EPBCS).
- Approves requests for Marketplace and CONCUR and prepare transactions for Human Capital Management (HCM).
- Assists in the Hyperion and Workforce input of budgets and forecasts.
- Serves as back-up support for other team members.
- Provides value to various administrative efforts of the New Brunswick Business Office.
- Completes ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in a related field plus two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles and practices.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
