The Project Manager is a solutions-minded leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment to deliver exceptional results on the end-to-end planning and execution of projects supporting a growing business. This role ensures projects are delivered in alignment with organizational objectives, established standards, and approved budgets. You will foster strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders to lead projects from concept to delivery of outcomes, making a measurable impact on our business every day.


Work Schedule: Full-time on-site supporting business hours of 8-5 CT Monday-Friday

Job Duties & Responsibilities:


Under the direction of senior leadership, the Project Manager will own projects for the railcar repair and locomotive repair businesses, including:



  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Prioritize action based on enterprise value creation potential.
  • Anticipate needs, identify risks, remove roadblocks, and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Champion continuous improvement by recommending innovative solutions backed by sound economic decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with team members, clients, and partners to support project success and longterm collaboration.
  • Drive clarity, accountability, and action by coordinating with crossfunctional teams and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain a strong sense of ownership and urgency while upholding a professional, positive, teamoriented attitude.
  • Communicate initiative progress and risks to stakeholders, business leadership, and enterprise directors.

  • Highly organized self-starter who thrives on challenge and variety with strong follow-through and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and energized by helping teams succeed.


Minimum Job Qualifications



  • 3+ years of project management, operations, or related experience.
  • Proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated success delivering data driven results in fastpaced, highvolume environments.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, etc.).
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications



  • PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification.
  • Prior experience in a growing or scaling organization.
