Group Manager I

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Data Management & Integrity
  • Maintain and monitor data quality within Salesforce and related systems.
  • Implement data governance standards, including validation, deduplication, and compliance checks.
  • Develop and enforce protocols for data entry and updates to ensure consistency.
• Reporting & Analytics
  • Design and generate dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Salesforce and other BI tools.
  • Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to support program goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define metrics and reporting requirements.
• Client Interaction & Support
  • Serve as a data liaison during client onboarding and ongoing engagement.
  • Ensure client-related data is accurate, timely, and accessible for program teams.
  • Provide training and support for staff and clients on data-related processes when needed.
• System Administration
  • Manage Salesforce configurations, workflows, and user permissions.
  • Coordinate with IT and vendors for system enhancements and troubleshooting.
• Team Leadership
  • Manage and coordinate Salesforce contractors to ensure timely delivery of system enhancements and maintenance.
  • Supervise and mentor a Data Analyst, providing guidance on reporting, analytics, and data best practices.
  • Allocate tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance for team members.
• Compliance & Security
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations and organizational policies.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks related to data security and confidentiality.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data management, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in data management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role required.
• Proven experience managing Salesforce CRM and external contractors required.
• Strong understanding of data governance, reporting, and analytics principles required.
• Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions required.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) required.
• Experience in program management or client services preferred.
• Familiarity with API integrations and data migration processes preferred.
• Travel required for this position less than 10%.
• Duties will include working under the direction of our Technology Director on special projects and on maintaining existing projects in a sales/service organization.
• The selected candidate will be a key member of the WLE energy efficiency execution team and will be responsible for staff performance and program accomplishments in assigned sectors. They will be contributors to the refinement of program strategies and innovations with management.
