*San Ysidro, CA 92173* *$25.00/hr +* *Position Overview* We are seeking an experienced *Bilingual Patient Services Representative (Spanish/English)* to support a high-volume healthcare call center environment. This role is critical to ensuring excellent patient experiences through professional phone support, accurate appointment management, and effective communication across departments. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling *60-80 inbound calls per day* in a fast-paced clinical setting. *Key Responsibilities* * Answer and manage a high volume of inbound calls from patients, vendors, insurance companies, and other medical facilities * Provide exceptional customer service by professionally greeting callers, actively listening, resolving inquiries, and closing calls efficiently * Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and modify patient appointments via phone, SMS, and Patient Portal communications * Screen and route patient calls to appropriate departments while ensuring accurate registration and appointment scheduling within the EMR system * Document clear and accurate messages using internal communication templates * Respond to patient questions and requests in accordance with clinic policies and procedures * Coordinate effectively with internal departments to support continuity of patient care * Demonstrate knowledge of SY Health programs and available services * Meet or exceed departmental productivity and quality assurance standards * Perform additional duties as assigned *Required Skills & Qualifications* * *Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) - REQUIRED* * Minimum *3 years of experience* in customer service, call center, or healthcare setting * Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills * Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Ability to type *35 WPM with 90% accuracy* * Proficiency with EMR systems and appointment scheduling preferred *Schedule & Training* * Training schedule must align with trainer availability * Historically *8:00/8:30 AM - 5:00 PM during training* * Transition to *10:00 AM - 6:00 PM* after training completion *Work Environment* * *100% onsite role* * High-volume healthcare call center setting *Pay & Benefits* *Pay Rate:* $25.00/hour Benefits eligibility is based on employment classification and length of assignment and may include: * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance * 401(k) Retirement Plan (Pre-tax & Roth options) * Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D) * Short- and Long-Term Disability * Health Savings Account (HSA) * Transportation Benefits * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Paid Time Off (PTO), Vacation, and Sick Leave #PriorityWest *Application Deadline* *Anticipated close date: March 12, 2026* *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
