Description * Provide Level 2 support for Windows and Linux desktops and laptops, resolving hardware and software issues * Troubleshoot issues related to workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices * Deploy, configure, and maintain desktops and laptops using standardized system images * Perform operating system installations, re-installations, upgrades, and patch management * Install and configure software applications to support business and technical teams * Support daily IT operations, including desktop support, basic networking issues, and limited server-related tasks * Assist with hardware and software procurement, including vendor coordination and recommendations * Manage IT asset inventory, tracking, and device lifecycle processes * Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and performance * Monitor and resolve IT service requests and incidents within defined SLAs * Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux systems as needed Top Skills * Solid experience providing support across both Windows and Linux environments * Experienced troubleshooting desktop and laptop hardware issues * Experience managing operating system imaging, patching, and endpoint management solutions Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medford, NY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
