Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Banking Operations Specialist to join our finance team. This entry-level role is responsible for managing banking relationships, processing transactions, and supporting compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and an interest in finance or banking operations. Key Responsibilities * Establish and manage banking relationships, including monitoring bank ratings and compliance * Open and maintain bank accounts and related services * Manage deposits and placement fees, including monthly reconciliation across multiple banks and accounts * Oversee fraud protection services * Process bank transactions (wires, ACH, checks) * Handle escheatment reporting for unclaimed checks across states using vendor support * Prepare monthly financial and operational reports * Manage user access to internal/external systems and conduct quarterly reviews * Review monthly bank fees and reconcile discrepancies * Conduct research and liaise between internal departments and banks Qualifications * Entry-level experience in finance, banking, or related field preferred * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and Word * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail * Banking or finance experience is a plus * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Moorpark, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
