We are seeking an experienced Collections Representative to support financial operations for a fastpaced logistics organization. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, highly organized, and comfortable working with complex customer accounts and crossfunctional teams. You will play a key role in resolving billing issues, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring accurate financial documentation. Key Responsibilities * Manage a portfolio of medium to complex customer accounts, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances * Run, analyze, and format daily reports and queries using internal systems to track productivity and account status * Create and maintain spreadsheets with specialized reporting parameters, including account balance tracking * Act as a primary point of contact between assigned customers and internal departments to address invoicing or billing issues * Collaborate with billing and operations teams to identify invoice discrepancies and develop corrective action plans * Document all activities, communications, and resolutions within the financial system daily for management visibility * Support continuous process improvements around billing, collections, and financial reporting Required Skills & Experience * Expert-level Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs * Strong proficiency in email communication and professional correspondence * Experience with collections, invoicing, and account reconciliation * Solid administrative skills with strong attention to detail * Customer service mindset and ability to handle escalations professionally * Experience working in logistics or with logistics customers (highly preferred) * Familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP/financial systems is a plus Top Competencies * Email communication * Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) * Invoicing & billing support * Customer service * Administrative accuracy & documentation What Makes You Successful in This Role * Ability to manage complex account portfolios * Analytical thinking and data accuracy * Strong follow-through and attention to detail * Comfortable partnering with cross-functional teams * Proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tinley Park, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
