Your role
As a Mechanical Systems Engineer (All Levels), your mission is to deliver reliable, high-quality compressor and auxiliary systems by expertly defining system components, producing precise customer documentation, and validating manufacturing drawings and bills of materials to uphold engineering excellence and customer satisfaction. You will report to the Systems Engineering Manager. You will
- Provide technical support across the project lifecycle, including drawing/BOM reviews, design calculations, component research, and contribution of design concepts.
- Review customer specifications and define project scope in coordination with Project Engineering and Applications Engineering.
- Prepare purchase specifications and review vendor documentation to ensure all components and subvendor deliverables meet project requirements.
- Monitor engineering schedule and costs, reporting any concerns to the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
- Ensure quality and compliance through accurate documentation, proper design checks, adherence to procedures, participation in project meetings, and compliance with safety rules and OSHA requirements.
- Travel and working off-hours is occasionally required, including holidays and weekends.

- BS Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and teamwork
- Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and project tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in calculations, documentation, drawings, and technical reviews.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our manufacturing site and office in Voorheesville, United States (US). #LI-Hybrid
