LOCATION: Broward / Ft. Lauderdale JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the region's lines of businesses including Commercial & Treasury, with referral responsibilities for Retail, Residential, Wealth Management and Marketing. Functions as Market Manager for the assigned market to include development and increased share of wallet of the region for all financial services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for reviewing and recommending business objectives for all lines of business within the market, administering lending policies as they affect the region. Approves loans up to assigned lending authority.
- Responsible for the region's growth, in addition to increased share of wallet for all financial services and products.
- Develops and implements effective strategic business plan for the region in order to increase market share, including branch office site selection; coordinates resources with Retail Division, Lending Division, and Financial Services Group. Assists Marketing Director to establish and implement a cohesive marketing plan with all Divisions.
- Participates heavily in all civic, community and business activities to enhance the image and recognition of the bank and develop new business relationships.
- Attends to the needs of customers seeking financial services.
- Interviews applicants to develop information concerning their businesses or personal needs, desires, abilities, and earnings to determine strategy or other financial services as appropriate.
- Makes decisions on loans and terms within own lending limits or makes recommendations on significant loans to the Chief Banking and Credit Officer.
- Refers business to other officers, as appropriate, to meet customer needs.
- Monitors the region's current loans to ensure complete conformity with terms and analysis of developing trends.
- Calls on potential or existing customers to develop new business and increase or retain existing business.
- Responsible for hiring, termination and on-going performance evaluation of colleagues working in the market and collaborates with the appropriate lines of business on policy and sensitive personnel issues.
- Responsible for the maintenance and testing of the Business Continuity Plans and Recovery Procedures for areas of responsibility. Ensures that issues identified through testing or audit results are appropriately addressed and mitigated. Also responsible for conducting annual awareness training to team members to familiarize them with key information on response strategies and recovery action plans.
- Adheres to the highest legal and ethical standards applicable to our industry, while observing both the spirit and letter of all government regulations and laws, and bank policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Four-year college degree in Business with emphasis in economics, accounting, and marketing preferred.
- Experience in the management and direction of the lending function as obtained through 12-15 years previous commercial lending.
- Experience in the analysis and approval of all commercial credits.
- Experience in Wealth Management Services and fiduciary responsibilities.
- Experience in Consumer Banking to include Retail Lending, Residential Lending and Branch Administration
- Experience in development of new business office site selection and marketing strategies.
- Easily navigates multiple client and support organizations.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and acts with speed - able to achieve results quickly.
- Complex problem resolution abilities

- Supervisory experience as obtained from 10+ years previous management experience.
