This opportunity is in the Human Resources department

The Human Resources Department is responsible for key areas typically associated with HR, such as employee benefits, talent acquisition, learning and development, payroll, employment law compliance, and performance management. Role Description:

As a Human Resources Coordinator located in the St. Louis Corporate Office, you will be part of the Total Rewards team and will play a vital role in ensuring employees have a positive employee experience.

You will be one of the first points of contact for employee questions-monitoring and responding to inquiries received through the HR mailbox or routing them to the appropriate team member.

In this role, you will maintain and update employee records within our HRIS, including keying various employee changes. You will coordinate onboarding activities such as I-9 documentation and E-Verify processing, and support offboarding processes to ensure compliance and a smooth transition for employees.

Your responsibilities will also include supporting benefits administration by assisting with answering employee benefits questions, benefit enrollment, invoice reconciliation and payment, ,. You will assist with the coordination of annual open enrollment, support benefit life event changes, and other wellness initiatives throughout the year.

Additionally, you will facilitate employee recognition efforts, including administering service anniversary and retirement award programs and contributing to a culture that celebrates milestones and supports employees during meaningful life events.

You will prepare quarterly turnover reports, assist with documentation and reporting needs, and provide general operational support to ensure the HR department runs efficiently and effectively. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, service-driven, and passionate about supporting employees while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Non-exempt:

Please note, this position is classified as Non-Exempt under federal wage and hour laws. As such, you will be required to clock in and out for all hours worked and will be eligible for overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a given workweek.

Required Qualifications:



  • Must satisfy one of the following requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required
    • 2 or more years of experience in Human Resources




  • Basic knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and communicate professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 4 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working with an HRIS system and processing employee lifecycle transactions.
  • Experience supporting benefits administration, including open enrollment and vendor coordination.
  • Experience assisting with employee recognition or engagement programs.
  • Experience preparing HR-related reports, such as turnover or workforce analytics.

In our vision to be First with Co-Workers, compensation is only one piece of the comprehensive total rewards package we offer. The target base salary range for this position is $46,000 to $60,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
